One of her books won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award in the category of Best Asian Cookbook in the World. She contributes regularly to various magazines and newspapers in the UK, Australia and her native India. She teaches Indian cookery in various cookery schools in the UK and her lecture demonstrations in the US have been highly popular.
